We have a direct hire, permanent Infrastructure Architect role with our end client to build an infrastructure team focused on designing, implementing and deploying highly scalable B2C e-commerce products. In a DevOps-centric way need to be able to write code that can access multiple 3rd party APIs in parallel with extremely low latency and store them all in a massive data cluster fully integrated downstream to vendors and providers. Knowledge of legacy on-line real-time coding methodologies (financial transactions such as TIBCO or even airline reservation systems such as SABRE) to buildout a new, relevant, and highly scalable software system using AWS, Azure and Google cloud services. Our end client prefers someone with the majority of the following qualifications: highly scalable infrastructure architecture and deployment experience; hosted AWS, Google or Azure environments; test driven DevOps mentality; team leadership; system and network architecture; a Bachelor's degree; at least 5 years of scalable enterprise network experience in a transaction environment (on-line / real-time preferred); software configuration management; storage in the cloud; SQL in the cloud.
